Some 15% of women polled said they feel so dependent on make-up that they apply it before their partner wakes up, and 5% of the men surveyed said they’ve never seen the woman in their life without her make-up on. Meanwhile, 10% of women said they look ”awful” without make-up and as many as 41% feel “self-conscious” without it. Some 7% are too “embarrassed” to go outside without using any cosmetics, 23% are “anxious” about people seeing them without make-up, and one-third worry about revealing their skin without any make-up on it.คำพูดจาก สล็อตเว็บตรง
The research comes from a survey of almost 2,000 women and men by the maker of RapidLash Eyelash Enhancing Serum.PRESSURE TO GLAM UPAlmost 30% of those polled said ‘reality’ TV shows such as Love Island and TOWIE inspire them to be more glamorous, although based on the results of the survey, it could be that such shows are undermining their confidence at the same time. The most ‘inspirational’ show of all in terms of looks is Keeping up with the Kardashians, we’re told. And while women feeling the need to glam up like Kim, Kylie or Kendall means some men have never seen their partner without make-up, that’s not the case for most. Yet even those women who are prepared to reveal all still wait at least a month into a new relationship before they go bare. This lack of confidence in their natural beauty also extends into the workplace with 40% of the women surveyed saying they would never attend a work meeting without full make-up.
Other activities they wouldn’t like to do make-up-free include popping to the local shop for a pint of milk (13% would apply make-up) and dropping off/picking up kids from school (almost 20%).This commitment means that women on average spend a little more than 18 minutes applying make-up each morning, although a night out takes 39 minutes.HEAVY HANDED OR LIGHT TOUCH?While make-up is seen as a must-have, it seems that doesn’t mean it has to be heavyคำพูดจาก สล็อตเว็บตรง. Some 25% of women love contouring, smoky eyes and false eyelashes, but a larger 35% feel that’s cosmetics overkill. And men seem equally torn between pro- and anti-make-up views. While 80% dislike heavy make-up on the woman in their life, 62% also think women look better in make-up.Two things they don’t like though are heavy fake tan and eyebrows that have been tattooed on, although in the latter case this might be affected by how obviously tattooed those brows are.So the big question is, why do women feel the need to wear make-up so much? Over half of those surveyed said when they don’t wear it they look tired and 41% said they look too pale/pasty, while almost two-thirds feel the need to cover acne and blotchy red patches. That all leads women to an average monthly spend of £34.48 on new make-up, or £413.76 a year.
